HOW TO REGISTER TO BOWL AT

To register to raise money for FAP’s Balls O’Fire Celebrity Bowling Tournament, sign up at Firstgiving.Com.

You can create your own web page that your friends can visit to donate. Your web page tracks who has donated to you. Ask your friends, family and colleagues for $25, $50 or $100 or more. Even $10 can make a difference.

Individuals raise a minimum of $125 to bowl. Teams raise a minimum of $500.

Keep raising as much as you can. Top fundraisers receive fabulous prizes!

REGISTER TO BOWL

To register go to http://www.firstgiving.com/34141 to get to the Foothill AIDS Project fundraising page

1) Click: “Start Fundraising”

2) What sort of page would you like to create? Select: “sporting”

3) What sort of event are you doing? Select: “bowling”

4) When is it? Enter date: “April 22, 2012” and select “continue”

5) In the box that says “Can’t find your event” type in Celebrity Bowling Tournament and select “continue”

6) Create your account by entering your email and password

7) Enter your fundraising goal

8) Create any personal message you’d like

9) Then “Save and Continue” and YOU’RE DONE!

EMAIL YOUR FRIENDS:

Email the link to your friends and colleague so they can make on line contributions. Here’s a sample message for your email:

Foothill AIDS Project serves more than 2,000 men, women and children each year with HIV/AIDS case management, mental health & substance abuse counseling, food, transportation, prevention and housing services.

The agency services an area from the San Gabriel Valley in LA through San Bernardino through central Riverside County and is one of the only remaining HIV/AIDS organizations in much of this vast territory.
